Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Within a team environment, this position will perform the following responsibilities:
•Develop social media strategy (including paid social) and best practices across various social media channels (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube, etc.) designed to grow followers and audience engagement by delivering fully integrated social programs across relevant social networks. 20%
•Create social-specific content (video, photo, mixed media) for applicable networks to develop a robust engagement calendar that supports our social media goals and strategies. Manage social media campaign execution and scheduling, including day-to-day content sourcing and creation as well as post-campaign analysis. 40%
•Continuously test, optimize and analyze campaigns and projects based on identified key performance indicators. 20%
•Communicate directly with users via social media channels, redirecting and responding to questions, engaging in conversation and serving as the public-facing voice of CCRC. Identify influencer engagement opportunities across social media accounts. 10%
•Work with Communications team members to produce internal and external Agency events. 10%
Job Specifications Minimum Required - Education : Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations
OR
- Experience : Equivalent experience in communications, advertising and marketing. Professional/Technical Certifications : n/a
- Technical Requirements :
- Excellent computer skills (typing 50+ WPM) to include advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills and database management experience.
- Extensive, demonstrable knowledge of the social media industry and current trends across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and Google.
- Experience using community management tools such as Hootsuite, Shoutlet, Curalate, etc.
- Bilingual Required : n/a

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team environment with shifting priorities.
- Ability to rely on experience, creativity and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Superb organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Meticulous attention to detail and strong proofreading capabilities.
- Proven ability to build relationships and operate effectively within a team and history of initiative, creativity, and self-motivation.
- Strong collaboration skills across interdisciplinary teams.
- Travel : Automobile, current auto insurance, current California Driver's License and DMV clearance required. Some travel within CA required.
- Work Schedule : Full time, typical work hours and shifts are M-F, but must have the ability to work non-traditional work schedules, which may include evenings and Saturdays.
- Work environment: The work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person's working conditions while performing the job.

We have doubled in size over the past 10 years. We provide child development and early education, workforce development opportunities, child care financial assistance, Head Start preschool and Early Head Start services and more for close to 50,000 parents, children, and child care providers each month in Northern Los Angeles County, including Antelope Valley, and the entirety of San Bernardino County, including an office in Victorville, serving a total geographic area of 22,500 square miles.
